Formatting, cover design, and layout design of both the physical copy and ebook of Japayuki: A Collection of Poems

Japayuki is a collection of poems by Sandra Gibbons. In this collection she examines the implications of her childhood experiences on her perspectives and behaviors as a woman. Sandra was born in Yokosuka, Japan to a first-generation Filipina immigrant and a 20-year U.S. Navy veteran.

Responsibilities

• developing design guidelines and implementing them in Indesign
• working closely with the author to create the cover art, incorporating the author's own paintings
• prepping all materials for both physical and digital publications
• creating mockups and other digital assets for marketing
